    This place was great. The staff were friendly and sociable and at 30 quid for my stay, I definitely got my money's worth and then some! Room 4 was quiet, clean and had very comfortable beds and a nice clean bathroom. Restaurant and bar downstairs had a good selection of food and drink and service was quick and very convenient for your stay. Haltwhistle itself has a decent amount of amenities: a Sainsbury's and a Co-op, a couple of ATMs, a tourist center, one or two convenience stores, and a selection of specialty shops all within 2 minutes walking distance of the inn, which is more or less in the center of town.
    Overall, I would suggest this place to anyone travelling through Hadrian's Wall country. Highly recommended.
